Today was the day that I planned on writing about the new benchmarks being posted by Fugger and FreeCableGuy over at xtremesystems.org but their website is currently down, either traffic is flooding their server or the site has crashed, most likely the first option. I’ll spend the rest of the day attempting to get these benchmarks and explain what this will mean, check back in a few hours and hopefully I’ll have something to show.
Update
Apparently the problem with the benchmarks is that the CPU and the motherboard aren’t cooperating. Fugger is trying every trick in the book to get the system to post but nothing is working. There is a possibility that there will be a fix Monday afternoon, more news to come as I recieve it.
