Minor Mishap

I promised that I would have results for my newest article but I had a mishap. This article involves an A64 and I was overclocking this chip and I ended up corrupting my installation of Windows that has all my applications for blogging (photochop, FTP client, Firefox, etc) so I have to put off writing for the night until I can get an installation of WinXP up and running again with all the tools necessary. I do have great results though, I am very pleased with what I have done so far, I just pushed the memory too hard and corrupted something in XP. Full length article is still in the making with lots of pictures and details.

Are you using SATA? Because on some boards the SATA controllers get funky at high reference clocks. (Serial interfaces seem to not like this sort of thing…. :) Maybe read up on your board. Impressive none the less, makes my peltier’s -20c seem pitiful.
