Christmas and New Years

For a large portion of the world Christmas has come and past but for America Christmas eve has just ended and Christmas day has started. I just got back from a little Christmas party and we had a gift exchange and I lucked out and got a bath towel! The great thing is that I actually needed another bath towel, you can never have too many bath towels or socks for that matter. But besides the bath towel, the fun part was the exchanging of gifts and the consumption of dangerous amounts of delicious food. Christmas is a great time to shake the piggy bank and go out and buy unusual presents for family and friends. A perfect example would be the bar mitzvah card my brother and I bought for my parents as a Christmas card. We found it hilarious as the picture on the front was funny, hopefully I won’t offend any Jews with my use of a bar mitzvah card as a Christmas card. Either way that is just the start of a lot of useless and funny gifts that will be exchanged over the next day. I haven’t got any bits of wisdom as I myself am terribly lacking in wisdom but I do wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I hope you don’t spend these holidays alone. Happy Holidays everyone and have a safe New Years. Make sure to grab someone before the clock strikes 12, don’t want to be left alone there either.
