New Theme, Gomeler: Tiffany Revision

If you are reading this from an RSS reader then you are missing the joys of giving birth to a new theme. I’ve been hacking away at this new concept for the last week or so and it has finally come time to unveil it. It is not even close to being done as I lost my main sandbox server but everything should be correct/fixed by tomorrow night at the latest. Let me know what you guys think though, do the colors suck? Does it look amazing? Is it just blah? I’ll be working on it over the next 24 hours in hopes to get everything working, until then just about everything is guaranteed to be broken. Time to go to bed and dream of css nightmares.

I like it a lot more than I thought! Good job, dear.

I don’t wanna be mean but yuck. Well it would be a bit better if the text in the posts was white or a light gray. The gray is just really hard to read.

I think you’ve got a good idea going here, honestly. Although I agree with scottfrye about the body text… lighter gray or white would be a lot easier to read. Also, I think you’re still working on this, but the front page’s sidebar is a little wonkers (the recent post), at least it looks like it from where it is.

Thanks for the comments guys, still have a lot of hours left to work on this thing. The text will eventually be a light grey, this is the default grey with K2 and I never tweaked any of the font attributes yet. Later tonight I’m going to implement a bunch of changes and also get the header menu working correctly. Time to hack attack my CSS.
