Real Life Sucks

A vital computer crashed at my job yesterday so I have spent the majority of my free time since then working on rebuilding and recovering everything so to say the least nothing will be happening tonight in regards to this website. I know I said I would get it looking good and update it but work and school come first. Now time to crash and wake up early and try to get this thing up and running before it delays too much stuff. Did I mention it was running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation? Shoot me please.

Server at work? I’ve got a 7-disk file server with a degraded array that won’t rebuild itself onto a new drive. :S

Ouch that sounds like a pleasant thing to work on repairing :) I finally got the system up and running and 100% stable, now it is time to relax and wait for something else to break. I love my job except when I have to do my job :-\

Dang, sux2bu, but I’m glad it’s all under control now. Did you have to reformat? Did you put NT 4.0 back on, or did you try NT 6.0? Erm, Vista?

So you really think your life sucks because a computer crashed??? Sorry but I like to keep things simple in an over-complicated world! My life has sucked since 2003! Life\’s really testing me! So it\’s now 2007 - Jan 2007 I said \’enough is enough\’ and set up a self help website with a forum. So this comment will probably be deleleted by the webmaster but just don\’t do it till you\’ve seen my website! By the way, I\’m not afraid of who I am anymore so I put my picture on my homepage. Refreshing in an ever increasing world of annoymous webmasters!

Well there are varying levels of “suck” on the life scale, that was just a minor blip but it was a funny enough to post about it. Re-assembling an operating system that is over a decade old for a machine that is still used on a daily basis was rather humorous. In regards to the anonymous webmaster part, I had a huge change occur when my girlfriend and I broke up so it was in dire needed of editing and I simply haven’t brought myself around to change it and post an updated picture, the previous one had her and I together. I am far from anonymous, this is my online home and unless someone comes in and tries to hurt me then I’ll always be here. I also don’t delete comments unless they are flamebait or flaming individuals, your comment could actually be useful to somebody.
