Shutdown Day

One of the blessings and curses of our modern society is the computer and the Internet it is attached to. I myself obsessively check my email to see if anyone has posted a comment on my website, I do this upwards of 20 times a day. I can safely say I spend roughly 3-4 hours minimum infront of one of my computers, I am attached at the fingertips to my computers. Shutdown Day is an amazing concept, it strives simply to see if individuals can quit cold turkey for a day and not utilize their computers. I suggest you guys check it out, it technically starts in ohhh 50 minutes but I just know all of you obsessively check my feed so that shouldn’t be a problem. I myself won’t be able to indulge in the wonders of Shutdown Day as I have to rebuild a computer tomorrow for my job but I will participate partially by checking my email 0 times tomorrow and turning off AIM. Check it out and see if you can cut it, I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of you are shocked when you realize how hard it’ll be. Good luck!

I’m currently in the process of mocking up and then brazing a new toy, good thing I have the house to myself as I blast rock into the garage. For those that wonder, yes my neighbors surely hate me. Currently jamming away to +44, if the ceiling isn’t vibrating it isn’t loud enough.

Yeah, definitely 3-4 hours MINIMUM. On average you’re on the computer about 8 hours a day. pretty much an hour before class, an hour in between and 6-9pm, dinner, then 10pm-2/3am straight.
