Small Update

There hasn’t been much interesting going on in the news lately and two of my projects have temporarily stalled so I haven’t got much to write about today. I’ll be visiting New Orleans this weekend for a formal so that should be a blast and hopefully I’ll snap a few good pictures that I can use on my “About” page. Speaking of that, I finally finished writing that page up, feel free to take a lookover and tell me how it looks. I just got my new hardware in yesterday so I’ll finally be doing some Vista vs XP tests. Previously that required me utilizing my desktop, now I can devote that second desktop to a research machine.

I have spent a little bit of time playing around with my autocascade, the more time that I work with it the more flaws I find it it. After burning through 3 pounds of CO2 and 8 pounds of propane I think I have found the best mix for the particular capillary tube setup. It still has a lot of work to be done on it such as adding 2 more feet of capillary tubing to the evaporator but I think it will be capable of holding some nice temperatures once the modifications are done. That’s about it, hope you guys have a good weekend, I know I will.
