My Birthday

Today was my birthday and sadly it wasn’t anything special. It was just another day in the life of a Tech student, a test today, test tomorrow, and a few pages of homework due tomorrow. There was also a huge influx of messages on my Facebook wall, a thread on XS, and a few phone calls and texts but otherwise no celebration, no drinking, no birthday cake, and no presents. Perhaps I need to work on the excitement in my life, I need an all expense paid vacation to Bermuda or somewhere else tropical. So yup, that’s it, I’m 21 and stuck studying for an exam that will probably kick my butt tomorrow. Back to the books I go.
Hey, I know it’s a couple days late, but Happy B-day! My wife’s birthday was on the 9th as well. Hope you did ok on your test.
I am 25 today and …it is a void feeling.
