If This Was a Poster, I’d Buy It

I have been a staunch PC gamer over the last 14 or so years of my life. I’ve never really had a huge attraction to consoles with their cramped controllers, limited resolutions, and terrible joysticks but I’ve enjoyed playing a few console games that were ported over to the PC. That being said, the image below does a great job highlighting a vast majority of the games that I’ve had a pleasure in playing. Yes I also understand that not all of these are PC ports but it’s the PC-games that really make me enjoy this image. First a few of my favorite cut-outs then the full image, enjoy guys and girls.

FF7 Characters

This pokes fun of one of the most heart wrenching scenes in FF7. Seriously.. who but Sephiroth kills off a fully developed character? Don’t answer that, I want to pretend he is the ultimate BAMF in gaming.

Cyberdemon vs Diablo

CyberDemon vs Diablo, who would win? Even though I had the supreme pleasure of killing Diablo only a thousand times, I still think he’d mop the floors with the CyberDemon. Remember that hellfire crap, toasty paladin coming right up.

Kane from C&C

Command and Conquer has always been a PC mainstay, too bad C&C3 leaves much to be desired. I can confirm though that Kane hasn’t aged a day from the original videos, rather shocking. It must be the tiberium..must be.

Lurker from Starcraft

Between Starcraft and Diablo my gaming time was rather scarce, oh how I miss burrowing lurkers around resource nodes. Good times await me in Starcraft 2 though, lurkers had better still rock.

That’s about it, here’s the full poster along with a poster with most of the characters explained. I found this over at Destructoid who sourced it back to this site. Now I just wish Agent 47 from the Hitman series was involved but I guess I can’t have everything.

definitely one of the best posters ever, and by the way i think that bald guy with a barcode on the back of his head on the wanted poster for the 47000000 dollars is Agent 47
