It’s Hot

Making this brief as it is unbearable in my room right now. Yesterday I came back to the house around 5pm and the AC was off. My room was up past 100F with just my single computer + sun warming up the sealed room. This is a shot of the thermostat on the shaded side of the house right now. Suffice to say it feels better outside with the breeze than inside right now. Discovered that freezing a moist t-shirt absolutely rocks when the AC is out.

AC is Dead

Haha, I absolutely love the frozen tshirt idea. If I’m ever again in a climate where I sweat, I’ll be sure to try it out!

From what I can tell you are from Australia, you guys have crazy ambient temps from what I have heard from a few Aussie clockers. I’d love to visit Australia some time, especially nice that there’d be relatively little in regards to a language barrier.

The frozen shirts are so useful, I’m sitting here with one on my back, room is still sweltering in the upper 90’s but I’m comfortable.

Hit 94F on the thermostat yesterday. While waiting for maintenance to come by and fix this I was just laying on the floor drenced in frozen t-shirts. Too hot to run PC or Macbook, poor Macbook sounds like a drag racer on the starting line revving it’s little fan.

Im located in Victoria… which is considered the colder part of Aus… in summer i was OC’ing with ambients of 51′c!! (winter is anywhere around 2-35′c) I can tell you it made things interesting to say the least :D
For abit i was in Western Aus, 55′c outside. i was attempting to use Pelts but sadly the house i was in had a corrugated tin roof… OC’ing isnt fun in the nude with sweat poring off you :(

hehe as for the language barrier… you yanks are a riot, love your accent as much as you love ours ;)
