BioShock

Need I say more? I hadn’t really heard much of this game until it seemed like the entire gaming section of the Internet blew up with glowing reviews of this game. Now after being bombarded with dozens of previews and reviews I have to say the game is growing on me and I haven’t even fired a demo up yet. I love video games for the ability to do what I cannot do normally without serious legal ramifications. Don’t know if that’s a proper reason to like video games but they are usually a fun way to blow stuff up, rampage through cities, and send thousands of robots/soldiers to their doom. BioShock looks to cover a lot of this interests of mine and I found a perfect video clip that illustrates these interests with great examples. I’m going to read a bit more into this game and see if it’s worth purchasing and if so you’ll see a Review up here. I just hope the PC version has slightly higher details than those exhibited in the video below as they look a bit dated to me. Guess I’ll have to purchase the game to find out.

If you liked the “System Shock” or “Deus Ex” series you will no doubt enjoy this mate, the demo is out for 360 and PC. PC has much better graphics when you got something like an 8800 to back it, but the 360 graphics aren’t anything to complain bout ;)
I played the demo when it launched on the PC and it was an absolute blast. The plasmids were incredibly fun to play with, I rather enjoyed using the lightning plasmid to toast guys standing in water. Now I wonder if it’s a bad thing that I found that to be rather fun :S
Mate! the fire plasmids is great a little sadistic i guess… Maybe i should play some retro Carmageddon to ballance it all out ;)
