Console Gamers Love Each Other

The Internet is full of issues that clearly separate people. The most common splits I personally see are between fans of various platforms and products, most notably the Intel vs AMD fanboys. If you want to see people tear each other apart over their undying faith in their respective platforms then read through a few Intel vs AMD threads. Intel vs AMD however isn’t the focus of this article, the focus here is your typical console gamer. The Wii, Playstation 3, and Xbox360 all have strong followings with the PS3 and Xbox360 having what I’d consider to be the most fierce fanboys I’ve ever seen. While reading through a recent article over at Joystiq about the upcoming 65nm Xbox360 GPU shrink I saw some prime examples of angry console fanboyism and thought I’d share them so everyone could have a good laugh. Here are three excerpts from the comments, the entire thing was a bit lengthy but hilarious nonetheless. In regards to the actual article, Xbox360 owners rejoice as it’ll only take a year for a final RRoD solution to finally hit the market.
See, Console gamers really do love each other! These guys have enough pent up anger combined that it’s a wonder they haven’t been locked up for killing someone. I suspect their parents didn’t love them when they were younger or something like that..
