I’ve been in “relax mode” for the last two days or so but I’ve got a few things in the works. Sometime soon I’ll be doing a full work-up on the QX9650 I picked up for the Gigabyte Contest. I’ve also got an EVGA 8400GS and 8800GTS 640MB to play with which should both prove to be rather entertaining. I don’t know if I’ll be reviewing the P35C DS3R I have on the bench as I was so frustrated benching that board that I might break it if I work on it again. I will however be reviewing the X48T-DQ6 that should be heading to my house from Gigabyte in the next week or two along with possibly an X38-DS4. On the phase-change front I’ve got an autocascade in the works along with a rebuild of my cascade so there should be some nice frost shots over the next two months. Lately I’ve been playing Eve Online, been playing on and off for the last week and I’m swiftly realizing it’s a very deep game, going to enjoy writing about it. I’ve also applied to write for Engadget, I’m slightly worried in that I’m a bit too specialized to be of use to them but maybe they are looking to expand their target audience. If that doesn’t work out I’ll try to find a more hardware-specific blog to write for, I don’t know if strapping a cascade to an iPhone counts as journalism. Time to go bend some copper, have three 10′ heat exchangers to build and it’s getting cold in the garage.
