Camoflaged Computer is Camoflaged

Since I’m now living in a fraternity house for the summer, I had to find a place to stash a computer for my daily activities. After investigating for a few hours I found a rather empty and unused office room. Grabbing what was available around me, I quickly setup shop so I could continue to partake in twittering, blogging, and Rick Rolling. In hopes of reducing the risk of losing my spare computer to sneaky gremlins and drunk college students, I disguised it as a rather innocuous box. It could only get better if I could somehow hide the screen.

The $1500 Killer Gaming Rig

It’s that time again, another hardware recommendation! I slacked off earlier this month so I’m simply pushing forward a single rec aimed at you gamers out there. New to this though will be me assembling a similar system at Dell.com to compare and show whether it’s worth your time to hand-build your own PC. As per the title, I trimmed this build down to sub-$1500 which is a bit steep but at the same time it’s a computer that could easily last two years of mid to high-spec gaming and half a decade for casual gaming.

Lean Machine 2006 Part 3

The long delayed results for the Lean Machine are in. I apologize for the lengthy delay, thanks for sticking around. I’ve built some fast computers in the past and I’ve managed to push them even further but this particular machine bested all my previous records at stock speeds and then just demolished everything when I began overclocking it.

Lean Machine 2006 Part 1

Some of you guys might be readers of Maximium PC or have atleast heard about the crazy monster of a computer they build every year, the Dream Machine. For those of you that aren’t accustomed to computer customization the Dream Machine includes only bleeding edge technology with no regards to price, hence the appropriate name Dream Machine. This September I was the specifications for the 2006 Dream Machine and then I had this brilliant idea, why not build a Dream Machine for myself?
