Hey, Robert again- I suppose I should mention that I'm not particularly interested in sub-zero temperatures, just sub-ambient (5-25 oC). Maybe chilled liquid cooling would be better? =\

Hey Chris, thanks a lot for the article! I'm doing the submersion cooling project (puget custom comptuers and tom's hardware have videos on it), and so I need to cool the entire tank of oil. I was having problems because it's supposedly a 430W load (weaksauce PSU xD), and when I use your rule of thumb when picking a capillary tube length, i wind up with -8 feet. Should I make the tube 8 feet in the other direction, or what? >.>
<.<
Hehe, maybe I'm not understanding this right. Thanks

Weird review. You are compressing already compressed files to try to see which program compresses better? And your main complaint is memory usage? What do you think you do when you encode MP3 or MP4?

Or what do you like to achieve with a compression tool?

I compressed here a 298430KB tarball. WinRAR: 68489KB, 7-Zip: 64641KB.

i want to upgrade my memory to 4 gig so i was doing a bit research and i was left with making a choice between kingstone's hyperx 2x2gig kit of 667mhz with 4-4-4-12 and 800mhz 5-5-5-18 and i choose to go with second one as the price of both the ram were same ....

but i was wondering dose the timing would have made a difference in this case in performance compared to frequency ....

both the ram operate at 1.8 v and the one the i bought can be overclocked to 4-4-4-12 but do u recon to overclock a ram

My house was robbed today in broad daylight. They stole my mothers silverware and most of it belonged to her grandparents and it had a lot of sentimental value. As well as some of her valuable jewelry. Also, my father's laptop was stolen. Nothing from my room was stolen except for a pillowcase they probably used to carry the stuff in. It totally creeps me out. What do I do? I can't sleep cause I'm scared they're gonna come back and do it again. It scares me that they've been in my room and seen my house and know where everything is. What if they come back and want to take the stuff in my room that they left? Like my digital camera and my computer. Is it normal for me to be so creeped out by this? How can I get past it? I feel like my privacy was totally invaded and I can't get it out of my head.

I Don't understand the whole "winrar sucks because it costs money" first of all, don't be a cheap ass. I pay twice the price for video games that I stop playing after a week, winrar will last far longer then that. And second, nobody is forcing you to buy it. You'll just have a little "you need to buy this or remove it from your computer, or whatthefuckever it says" and you know that more than 50% of winrar users are the pirates creating archives for torrents so that message isn't a big deal compared to the 40TB's worth of pirated material you're using it on.

above all people only compress files to keep them neat or to be annoying (which is why you see music and movies in .rar's) so the program really doesn't even matter, I mean shit you could even use the "create new folder" button instead. but you're going to be seeing mainly .rar's on the net so get with the fucking times. We have 1TB hard drives for under $100 now, and when it comes to sending stuff over the net that 100MB you knocked off a 1GB files is only a 10min difference on an average connection and compressing or decompressing the file makes up for that time. So my conclusion is, Fuck compression.
